Check out the lesson on memory tricks.

Use sayings to help with the difficult letters. Use whatever helps you remember the words. These aren’t used often but when you need them, memory tricks help.

1. necessary: It’s necessary to have 1 Collar and 2 Short Sleeves = 1 x C and 2 x S. If the -a- is a problem think of a in have.

or, It’s necessary to cut some services.

2. accommodation: The accommodation has 2 Cots and 2 Mattresses and 2 rOund babies. Or, 2 Cats and 2 Mice are in the accommodation.

3. business: It’s good business to go by bus. busy (change the y to i) + ness = business.

4. stationery for pens, paper, envelopes: See the -e- in envelopes and in stationery. (stationary with an -a- = at a stop)

5. assistant: ass + is + tant = That ass is an assistant.
